Privacy Policy for 2048 by Lumera
Lumera Labs ("we," "us," or "our") operates the mobile game 2048 by Lumera (the "App"). This Privacy Policy describes how information is handled when you use the App.
Information We Collect
We do not collect personal information for our own analytics or marketing purposes through the App.
The App may store gameplay-related information on your device, such as:
- Game progress
- High scores
- Settings and preferences
- Unlocks and other gameplay state
Apple Services
The App may use Apple-provided services, including:
- Game Center, to support leaderboards and achievements
- iCloud Key-Value Storage, to help sync certain gameplay data and preferences across your Apple devices
- StoreKit, to process optional in-app purchases such as Remove Ads
When you use these features, Apple may process information in accordance with Apple's own terms, privacy policy, and service settings. We recommend reviewing Apple's privacy information for more details.
How Information Is Used
Gameplay-related data is used only to operate the App's features, such as:
- Saving your progress
- Restoring your game state
- Syncing supported game data across devices through Apple services
- Submitting scores and achievements to Game Center when enabled
Advertising and Purchases
The App may show ads through Google AdMob. We request non-personalized ads by default. Google may process device identifiers, approximate location, advertising data, product interactions, crash data, performance data, and other diagnostic information to provide and measure ads, perform analytics, prevent fraud, and comply with legal requirements.
You can make a one-time Remove Ads purchase to hide banner and interstitial ads in the App. Purchase processing is handled by Apple through the App Store.
Non-personalized ads are not selected using a user's past behavior, but Google states that they may still use cookies or mobile identifiers for frequency capping and aggregated ad reporting. Google's SDK privacy manifest also identifies Device ID as potentially used for tracking. We do not request personalized ads by default. Where permission is legally or technically required for a particular use, that use must remain disabled unless the required permission or consent is obtained.
If you are in the EEA, UK, or certain US states, Google may show a consent message before ads are shown. When required, you can manage ad-related privacy choices through Privacy Options in the App's Settings.
Data Sales
We do not sell personal information.
Data Sharing
We do not share personal information with third parties for our own commercial purposes.
If you choose to use Apple features such as Game Center or iCloud, relevant data may be handled by Apple to provide those services.
If ads are shown, Google may receive information needed to provide and measure ads. Google's handling of that information is governed by Google's Privacy Policy and Google's advertising policies.
Data Retention
Gameplay data stored locally on your device remains there unless you delete the App or clear the device data.
If you use iCloud syncing, synchronized gameplay data may remain in your iCloud account subject to Apple's retention and account settings.
Children's Privacy
The App is a general audience puzzle game and is not directed to children under the age where parental consent is required by applicable law.
Your Choices
You can limit or disable Apple service features through your device or account settings, including Game Center and iCloud settings where available.
You can also stop local storage by deleting the App from your device.
You can remove ads by purchasing Remove Ads in the App, and you can restore that purchase from Settings.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above.
